I visited an office the other day and while waiting, the secretary gave me the daily newspaper to read. Then she said. Read Sister, if you want to be stressed! Well true enough, our newspaper talks so much at this time of recession, financial meltdown, chaos, crises in our world. Very stressful indeed. It even says this is a global event!

It is at this time when our world is scourged with noise, waste and haste, that we dare to start the REGINA RICA
(Regina Rosarii Institute for Contemplation in Asia). It’s a great risk we are taking, but with the help of all our members, benefactors and friends, this work will be done. The Carmelite Prioress of Carmel by the see in Tanay, challenged us. “Just believe! You see, if God can make heaven and earth, God can surely make Regina RICA.” Yes, such words of wisdom.

It is the Lord’s wish. We have listened. We believe RICA will be born. Our Lady is giving us signs. St. Joseph will help build
Regina RICA. This place is taking shape. Slowly, stone by stone,
we are starting to build up a place that can become our sacred space for hope, healing and harmony.
