What is Regina RICA?

         

Regina RICA is envisioned to be a sacred space that provides a sanctuary for silence, serenity and stillness for people who seek respite from a noisy and busy life.

Regina RICA, as an institute will be a premier resource center for the promotion and practice of contemplative prayer and contemplative lifestyle. Programs and courses will be offered to religious and lay contemplatives.

Regina RICA, as a wholeness and wellness center, will offer an environment and expertise in promoting holistic health. It shall combine western approaches to traditional and oriental medicine towards a healthy approach that addresses the concerns of the body, the mind, the heart, and the soul.

Regina RICA, as a nature park, shall be a haven of peace. Fragrant flower gardens combine with herb and organic vegetable farming will allow the visitors to savor the healing power of the Earth. Added to this is the special feature of RICA which is Water. Within the area are 3 waterfalls, a brook and a creek.

Regina RICA is Our Lady who said in Medjugorje, “Thank you for responding to my call.” The Lady is waiting on top of the hill… She’s calling for us all to gather at her hill.

All these and more shall make Regina RICA an instrument of transformation: a new way of being a community, a way of being a Church and a new way of caring for the earth.

Regina RICA has more than 10,000 trees. We invite you to adopt these trees and contribute to ecological balance. We invite you to be good carers of the earth.

HOW?

Contribute Php 550 ($13) pesos per month for 13 months! This love offering per month will help us acquire the land. Once we have this place for silence, stillness and serenity, we will be able to help you have a quiet place away from noise and haste.

Each tree that you adopt will be tied with a yellow ribbon. A symbol of welcome for our Lady who will soon reign in the land. When you have finished paying Php 7,150 ($ 170) after 13 months or earlier, you will be given a “shareholder ticket” with privileges.

Each tree that you adopt makes you a shareholder of the dream. You will always be remembered in the prayers of the Dominican Sisters of Regina Rosarii and their lay partners, the Regina Rosarii Contemplative Association (ROCA), the Regina Rosarii Service Assistants (ROSA), Club 513 and the K friends.
